White Sauce is one of the key ingredients in many Italian recipes specially Pasta that is the most common of all.
Ingredients:- ( Makes 1 cup )
* 2 tbsp Melted Butter
* 1 Bayleaf / Taj Patta
* 1 tbsp Refined flour / Maida
* 1 tbsp Cheese
* 2 cups Milk
* Salt to taste
* 6-8 Basil leaves
* 1/2 tsp White Pepper
Method:-
* In hot melted butter drop Bayleaf and Refined flour.
* Roux it on low heat for 2 minutes and then add 1 cup Milk little at a time breaking any lumps.
* Add shredded cheese and another cup of Milk maintaining heat to low..
* Now there aren’t any lumps add cut Basil leaves.
* Within one boil of adding 2nd cup of Milk put off the stove.
* Let it come down to room temperature it will become more thick.
* Discard the Bayleaf.White sauce is ready.
