No Mawa Moong Dal Burfi

Rinse 1 cup split yellow lentil ( Dhula Moong dal )

Drain out excess water from the dal and spread over a cloth to dry.

Grind the dal and drop it over melted Ghee.

Add 1 tbsp Gram flour.

Step

Roast over low till aromatic and the Ghee oozes out.

Make a sugar syrup with one string consistency by adding 1/2 cup water in 3/4 cup Sugar.

Also add 1/2 tsp green Cardamom powder

Add the made sugar syrup in roasted flour. Stir till you get halwa type consistency.

Stir till you get halwa type consistency.

Add to a greased mould.Sprinkle some chopped dry fruits and let it to set.
