Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Clarified butter / Desi Ghee
  • 1 Cup Vermicelli
  • Some mix chopped Dry fruits
  • 4 Cups Milk. Doodh
  • 1-2 Tbsp Sugar/ Cheeni
  • ¼ Tsp Green Cardamom / Hari elaechi

Instructions
 

  • Stirring contineously on medium roast Vermicelli till golden brown.
  • A few moments before Vermicelli gets golden brown add chopped dry fruits and let them also get little roasted in Ghee.
  • After about 2 minutes of adding dry fruits add Milk and Sugar.
  • Let this to boil over low to medium heat until Vermicelli gets soft and the kheer gets little thick.
  • Add Cardamom powder, give a stir and switch off.

Note

  • Serve Vermicelli kheer lukewarm or cold.
  • After the kheer cools down it gets more thick.
  • Vermicelli kheer or Meethi Seviyan kheer, can be served lukewarm or cold.
  • You can try to serve the kheer with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
