Mysore bonda Chutney,South Indian snack,MaiMysore bonda is a popular snack of South Indian.Its super delicious and can also be called as most demanded street food.
Ingredients 🙁 Serves 12 )
- 1/2 cup Curd
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Chilli paste
- 1 tsp Ginger paste / Adrakh
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 cup Rice flour / Chawal ka Atta
- 1 cup Refined flour / Maida
- 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera
- 10-12 Curry leaves
- 1/2 cup Water
- Oil for frying
Methods :-
- Add and mix all the above ingredients using Water little at a time making a thick paste like batter.
- Keep the batter to rest covered for an hour
- Then beat the batter thoroughly to incorporate air to make Bonda fluffy and soft.
- Drop spoonsful of batter in hot Oil to fry and they will become double in size.
- Fry over medium heat till golden brownish in colour and move them upside down so that they get nicely friendly all over.
- Mysore bonda gets fried just within 2-3 min.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Tips :-
- Instead of curry leaves you can also add Coriander leaves or add equal quantity of both.
- The batter should be same as we make for Madhu vada.
