Rice has been the most important part of Indian Cuisine.We all have been eating poha (Rice flakes) as breakfast but now you can make a delicious simple snack out of it with some added spices.Come have a look at the recipe.
Ingredients:-
* 2 cups Rice Flakes / Poha
* Salt to taste
* 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
* 1/2 tsp Cumins / Zeera
* 1 tsp Dry Mango powder / AAMCHOOR
* 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
* 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
* A pinch of Turmeric / Haldi
* 1/2 tsp Green chilli paste
* 1 tbsp Coriander leaves / Dhaniya
* 1 tbsp Mint leaves / Pudena
* 2 boiled Potatoes
* 1 tsp Coriander powder
* 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
* Oil for frying
Method:-
1. Rinse Rice flakes with Water 2-3 times until clean.
2. Then add to it Salt,Ginger paste,Cumin,Dry Mango powder,Chaat masala,Red chilli powder,Turmeric,Green chilli paste,Coriander leaves,Mint leaves,mashed boiled Potatoes and Coriander powder.
3. Mix and mash all the ingredients into a dough.
4. Roll small portion of the dough into a small Lemon sized ball applying little Oil over your palms if required.
5. Coat the balls with bread crumbs and piercing across for better frying.
6. Fry in hot Oil keeping heat on medium till golden in colour.
Tips:-
– Serve hot With Tomato ketchup or green chutney.
