This Palak chaat is a special New Delhi chaat that you will love to have if you are a chaat lover .Almost same as Samosa chaat enjoy this low calorie Spinach chaat.
Ingredients:-
BESAN BATTER
- 1 cup Gram flour / Besan
- 1/4 cup Rice flour / Chawal ka atta
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
- A pinch Asafoetida / Hing
- 1/4 -1/2 tsp Green chilli paste / Hari mirch
- 1 tbsp less 1 cup Water
- 8-10 Spinach leaves / Palak
- Oil for frying
FOR PREPARING CHAAT
- Tamarind chutney / Imli chutney
- Coriander chutney / Dhaniya chutney
- 1 cup Curd / Dahi
- Finely Chopped Onion / Pyaaz
- Finely Chopped Tomatoes / Tamatar
- Chaat masala as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Cumin powder / Zeera
- Sev bhujiya
Method :-
- Adding all the ingredients make a thick batter.
- Coating each Spinach leaf with a thin layer of batter fry in hot Oil till golden brown over a medium heat making a Palak patta pakoda.
- Arrange the Spinach pakoda in a plate and spread over it all the ingredients listed to prepare Chaat one by one,adding sev at last.
Tips :–
- In the remaining Besan batter add finely chopped Palak leaves to make fritters / Pakoda or Pakoras
