Ingredients:-

  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil / Sarso tel
  • 1 big Radish with leaves / Mooli
  • 2 Potatoes / Aloo
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / Hinge
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin /. Zeera
  • Salt to taste / Namak swad anusar
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder / Lal mirch
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
  • 1/3 tsp Dry Ginger powder / Saunth
  • 2-3 Dry red chillies / Sookhi Lal mirch

Method:-

  1. Heat Oil in pressure cooker .In hot Oil add Hing and Zeera .Let the Zeera to crackle over low for few seconds.
  2. Add Potatoes cut in cubes,adding Salt fry them stirring occasionally over med-high for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Now add Mooli,skin removed cut in cubes.Saute again over medium-high stirring occasionally for 5-7 minutes or till both are about 50% soft.
  4. Add Mooli leaves chopped in medium size.Continue Sauting for another 2-3  minutes on medium-high also adding dry red Chillies.
  5. After this put heat on low to add spices- Red chilli powder,Turmeric powder and Dry Ginger powder.
  6. Continue stirring on low for not more than a minute and then drop about 1 cup of Water.
  7. Pressure cook for 2-3 minutes and if your Mooli and Aloo get soft,Sabzi is ready to serve.
  8. Goes best with Rice.

Tips :-

  • Heat Mustard Oil till smoked.
