Pooris made using fresh Methi can be a great appetiser or a breakfast recipe that is easily quick to make and good to eat.
Ingredients:- ( Serve 12)
- 2 cup fresh finely chopped Fenugreek / Methi
- 2 cup Wheat flour / Atta
- A pinch Asafoetida / Hing
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
- 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1/4 cup Semolina / Suji
- 2 tbsp Ghee or Oil
- Oil for frying
Method :-
- Mix all the ingredients adding water to make a stiff dough.
- Keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Take small portions of the dough and roll out small puris.
- Fry puris in hot Oil over medium.
- Serve hot with pickles and curd.
