Pooris made using fresh Methi can be a great appetiser or a breakfast recipe that is easily quick to make and good to eat.

Ingredients:-  ( Serve 12)

  • 2 cup fresh finely chopped Fenugreek / Methi
  • 2 cup Wheat flour / Atta
  • A pinch Asafoetida / Hing
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1/4 cup Semolina / Suji
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or Oil
  • Oil for frying

Method :-

  1. Mix all the ingredients adding water to make a stiff dough.
  2. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Take small portions of the dough and roll out small puris.
  4. Fry puris in hot Oil over medium.
  5. Serve hot with pickles and curd.
