This can be called a new recipe invention for vegetarians that can be made in various other forms.
Ingredients:-Â ( Serve 12 )
FOR MARINATION
- 12 Soya chaap sticks
- 3 tbsp Thick curd
- 3 tbsp smoked mustard oil
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander / Dhaniya powder
- 1/2 – 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
- 1 tsp Garlic paste / Lasan
- 1 tsp Ginger paste / Adrakh
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp Black salt / Kala namak
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Gram flour / Besan
- Half lemon
OTHER INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup Corn flakes crumbs
- Oil for frying
Method:-
- Make small cuts or slits in Soya chaap sticks all over.
- Mix all ingredients to make a marination and then keep them marinated at least for an hour.
- Coat with crushed corn flakes and fry in hot oil until crispy golden brownish.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
Tips :-
- For better result you can keep the soya sticks marinated for a day over kitchen counter or in fridge.But take it out few hours before frying.
