Potato Cheese fingers is a easy to make delicious snack recipe.
Ingredients:-Â ( Serve 40 )
- 500 gm Potato / Aloo
- 1 cup + 1 tbsp Corn flour
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh Coriander / Dhaniya
- 1 tbsp finely chopped Curry leaves / Kadi patta
- 1 tsp Chilli paste
- Salt to taste
- 50 gm Cheddar or processed cheese
- 1 tsp Chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp Pepper ( Optional )
- Oil for frying
Method:-
- Make small slits in the potatoes and put them to boil immersed in water till they get tender.
- Let the potatoes come down to room temperature and then we will match them till smooth.
- Now add salt, Chilli paste, chaat masala,fresh coriander, Cheese and curry leaves.
- Next adding cornflour combine all ingredients into a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough into a half centimetre thick sheet and then cut thin strips out of it.
- Add the strips to hot oil and let them fry over medium heat flipping in between till they are golden brown in colour.
- Strain out over paper towel and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Tips :-
- To cook the potatoes you can even pressure cook them for about 4 to 5 whistles.
- If you want the cheese fingers to be more crisp fried over a low heat for a longer time.
