Instant Rice Uttapam  Without Fermention

Soak 1 cup of rice in 1 + 1/4 cup of water for 3-4 hours.

Grind the soaked rice with 1 inch Ginger to make a thin batter.

Finely chop 1/4 cup carrots, 2 onions & 2 green chilies.

Step

Chop 1/4 cup Peas into smaller pieces & also chop 1 Tomatoes.

Step

Add the chopped vegetables and mashed boiled potatoes to the rice batter.

Mix in salt, 1 tsp chili flakes, 1/2 tsp carom seeds,1 tsp dry fenugreek,1 tsp coriander & 1 tsp mango powder.

 Adjust the batter's consistency by adding a little water if needed.

Kashmiri No Onion Dahi Aloo 

Heat oil in a non-stick pan or tawa and spread the batter evenly.

Step

Cook the uttapam paratha on low heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Step

Press the paratha with a spatula while roasting to make it crispy..

Serve hot with green chutney
