Lemon Rice

Lemon Rice

In 2 tbsp hot Sesame Oil add 1/2 tsp split Bengal gram and 1/2 tsp whole Black Gram

After sauting for 2-3 minutes add 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds.Let Mustard crackle few seconds.

Then add 1 pinch Asafoetida

Next few 3 slit green Chillies.

Step

Also add 1 tbsp each half broken Cashews and skin removed Peanuts.

Add 10-12 curry leaves.

Step

Add 1/2 tsp Ginger paste.

Step

Continue sauting on low 20-30 seconds.

Next add 1 cup cooked rice,1/4 tsp Turmeric & 1/2 tsp Sugar which is optional.

Now add Salt to taste and 1/4 cup Lemon juice.

Step

Mix and then keep it covered on low for about 2 minutes.

Serve for lunch.</
