Crispy Sooji Bonda Recipe | Instant Veg Semolina Bonda | Quick Rava Bonda Recipe. Sooji bonda is very easy-to-make a type of crispy snack recipe which can be instantly made when any guest arrives by chance at your place.The main ingredient of this recipe is Semolina or Rava/sooji which is a common ingredient available in every Indian kitchen in bulk. This or Suji bonda is a type of Suji Pakora or fritter that can be said as a derivative of Urad Dal Bonda or Mysore Bonda . But this Suji bonda recipe is much lighter than the Urad Dal Bonda.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Semolina / Sooji
  • Salt to taste / Namak swad anusar
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper / Kali mirch
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin / Zeera
  • 1/2 Tsp Carom / Ajwain
  • 1/2 Tsp Chilli flakes / Sukhi Lal mirch
  • 1 Tsp Chaat masala
  • * 1 Tbsp finely chopped Onions / Pyaz
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped Carrot / Gajar
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped Capsicum / Shimla mirch
  • 1-2 green Chillies / Hari mirch
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh Coriander / Hara Dhaniya
  • 1 Tsp shredded Ginger / Adrakh
  • 1 cup Curd / Dahi
  • 1/2 Cup Water / Pani
  • Medium hot Oil / Tel to fry

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add Semolina,Salt to taste, Pepper, Cumin, Carom, Chilli flakes, Chaat masala, chopped Onion, chopped Carrot, chopped Capsicum, chopped green Chillies, chopped fresh Coriander,Ginger paste and Curd.
  • Mix adding little Water about half cup.
  • Cover and let it sit for at least half an hour.
  • Take small ball portions of the batter and drop in medium hot Oil .
  • Fry over medium heat till crisp and golden.
  • Strain out and enjoy with sauce or chutney.

Note

  • Add little Water if the consistency is too thick.
