Semolina or Suji Pancakes are simple easy and a healthy option not only for breakfast but also for your kids lunch box.
Ingredients:- ( Serves 8 )
- 1 cup Semolina / Suji
- 1 cup Curd / Dahi
- 1 cup Water / Pani
- 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
- 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera
- 1 tbsp chopped Broccoli / Hara gobi
- 1 tbsp chopped Peas / Matar
- 1 tbsp chopped Carrot / Gajar
- 1 tbsp chopped Onion / Pyaz
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh Coriander / Dhaniya
- 1-2 green Chillies / Hari mirch
- Salt to taste / Namak swad anusar
- Some Oil / Tel
Method:-
- In a bowl add Suji,Curd,Water,Carom,Cumin,Salt,Broccoli,Peas,Carrot, Onion,Chillies and Coriander.Mux
- Keep covered aside half an hour.
- It should have easy spreadable consistency,if not add little more Water if required.
- Spread about a teaspoon of Oil over a Tawa.
- Now spread the made Sooji batter into a Pancake.
- Keeping heat low cook it covered with a lid for about 90 seconds.
- Flip and cook again covered for another 90 seconds.
- And within 3 minutes Pancake is ready.
- Serve with any green Coriander or Tomato Chutney.
Tips:-
- Thickness of Pancake you can adjust accordingly to your own liking.
