Make a instant kheer for your breakfast in just 5 minutes.
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup Rice flakes / Poha
- 1-2 tsp Butter / Desi ghee
- 4 cups or 1 Litre Milk
- 1/4 cup chopped Nuts ( Mix of Cashews & Almonds )
- 1 tbsp Raisin / Kishmish
- 6-8 wet Dates / Khajoor
- 2 tbsp Coconut powder
- 1 tbsp Sugar / Cheeni
- 1/4 tsp green Cardamom / Hari elachi
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon / Dalchini
Method:-
- Thoroughly rinse poha 2 to 3 times to take out all the dust and dirt and then keep it over us sieve to get dry.
- Sauté all Nuts and dry fruits in the ghee over a low heat for 2 to 3 minutes adding Cinnamon & Cardamom powder.
- Next add Milk ,let the milk come to boil occasionally stirring.
- Cook Poha in Milk 5-6 minutes over low or till Milk gets bit thick in between adding Sugar.
- Poha kheer is ready.
