Pancake in two different flavours one sweet and the other tangy savoury.Easy to make healthy pancakes best for a instant breakfast.

Ingredients:- ( Serve 8 )

BANANA PANCAKE

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 2 Bananas / Kela
  • 1 tsp Oil / Tel
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Salt / Namak
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon / Dalchini
  • 1/2 +1/3 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery / Gud
  • 2 tbsp Curd / Dahi
  • Little Honey / Shahad

Method :-BANANA PANCAKE

  1. Dry roast Oats over low 3-4 minutes until crisp.
  2. Cool and grind in a chopper making coarse powder.
  3. Mash Banana in a mixing bowl.
  4. Adding ground Oats,Salt,Jaggery,,Cinnamon,Vanilla,Baking soda,Curd and half cup Milk make a batter.
  5. Keep the batter to set for about 30 minutes.
  6. After this Oat gets thick.Add 1/3rd cup more Milk in this to make batter of spreadable consistency.
  7. Over a non stick Griddle / Tawa apply and spread little Butter.
  8. Drop tablespoon of batter to make pancakes.Cook over low-medium heat.
  9. Within 3-4 minutes Pancake slides which shows it is cooked beneath leaving the base.
  10. Flip and cook on the other side.After Pancakes gets golden brown over both sides remove.It will take 5-7 minutes.
  11. Drizzle with little Honey and serve.

MASALA PANCAKE

  • 1 cup Masala Oats
  • 1-2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
  • 1 thinly sliced Onion / Pyaz
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Carrot / Gajjar
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli paste / Mirch
  • 1/4 cup chopped green Peas / Matar
  • 1/4 tsp or less Salt / Namak
  • 1 tsp  heaped & full Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh Coriander / Dhaniya
  • 1 cup Water / Pani
  • 1/4 cup Curd / Dahi
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • Little Oil for cooking

Method :- MASALA PANCAKE

  1. Heat Oil.Add Carom over low and let it to crackle few seconds.
  2. Drop chopped Onion.Saute Onion over medium heat till it shrinks.
  3. Add finely chopped Carrot।
  4. Add Salt and green chilli paste.
  5. After sautéing Carrot 2-3 minutes add chopped Peas.
  6. Keep on sauting till rawness of veggies goes off.
  7. Switch off heat below add then mix in Cream cheese and chopped Coriander.
  8. Now add made veg mix in Masala oats,half cup Water and Baking soda.
  9. Keep this covered to rest for 30 minutes.
  10. Next you will see Oat absorbs all the Water And gets thick.
  11. Add 1/2 cup more Water and Curd.
  12. Mix and you get a flowing batter consistency.
  13. Drop a teaspoon of Oil over the Griddle / Tawa.Over the hot Griddle drop a tablespoon of the batter.Cook on low-medium.
  14. Within 3-4 minutes Pancake slides which shows it is cooked beneath leaving the base.
  15. Flip and cook on the other side.After Pancakes gets golden brown over both sides remove.It will take 5-7 minutes.
  16. Serve with Curd or Pickle.

Tips :-

  • If continuously stirring you can sauté the veggies over high heat.
  • When you see bubbles around the Pancake it shows it’s still cooking and is raw.
