Make at home pure paneer easily with all tips and tricks.
Ingredients:-Â ( Serve 250 gm )
- 1 litre full fat milk ( At least with 6 % fat )
- 2 tbsp vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Method:-
- Keep milk to boil.Give it a stir.
- When the milk comes to a boil put heat to a low.
- Add 2 tbsp Vinegar or fresh lemon.Give it a stir and keep it covered for 5-7 min.
- And now your milk is curdled.
- Strain it out from a thin cotton or muslin cloth.
- Let the excess whey water drop itself don’t squeeze or over squeeze it.
- Keep the made sack over a sieve with a light weight or hang it so that the excess water drips off.
- Within an hour paneer / cottage cheese is ready.
Tips :-
- If the milk doesn’t curdle in one go because of high fat content,repeat the process.
- You can refrigerate it for a week in ziplock bag.
