Make completely pure homemade pure two layered burfi adding well balanced sugar
Ingredients :- ( Serves 16 )
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 cup grinder Coconut / Nariyal
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Milk powder
- 1/2 tsp Green cardamom / Hari elachi
- 1 cup or 200 gm Khoya / Mawa
- 2 tbsp unsweetened Coco powder
- 1/4 cup Sugar powder
Method:-
- Melt Sugar in Milk over low and then add to it Coconut along with Milk powder and Cardamom powder.
- Keep on cooking and stirring over low to medium till the mix turns to a thick halwa type consistency.
- Drop and level in a greased mould.
- Make Mawa into small pieces and let it melt over low adding Coco and sugar powder.
- As soon as Mawa starts melting,remove from heat and continue stirring till Mawa turns liquid.
- Drop over the Nariyal burfi layer.
- Cool and refrigerate for couple of hours.
- Cut and serve cool.
Tips :-
- Don’t over cook Mawa.
