Lachha paratha is a specially made paratha that has or can have various layers which makes it unique.This paratha can be called Indian version of puff pastry.You can create these layers by using 5 different methods depending upon which method you feel is most easy or which method can give your paratha maximums layers.
Ingredients :- ( Serve 4 )
- 2 cup Wheat flour / Atta
- 2 cup Refined flour / Maida
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Carom seeds / Ajwain
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 2 cup Water
Method:-
- Make a soft paratha dough adding all the above ingredients,punching and kneading for 5-7 min.
- Keep dough to rest for 30 min covered with damp cloth.
- Make lachha paratha using 5 different methods
- And then simply roast it over a griddle / Tawa on both sides applying a teaspoon of butter or oil
