We all love different sandwiches.This one is a healthy and tasty version.
Ingredients :- ( Serves 8 )
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera
- 2 tbsp Onion
- 1/2 tsp Garlic paste / Lasan
- 1 Green chilli
- 1 tbsp Capsicum / Shimla mirch
- 1 cup mashed boiled Potatoes
- 1 tbsp sweet corn
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
- 1/4 tspPepper / Kali mirch
- 2 tbsp Tofu / Soya paneer
- 2 tbsp Fresh cream
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Tomato puree or finely chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp Coriander
- Bread slices
- Oregano
- Shredded Mozzarella cheese ( Optional )
Method:-
- In hot Oil add Zeera and let it to crackle and then add Onion.
- After a minute of sautéing over medium add Garlic paste,chilli and Capsicum.
- After sauting for couple of minutes add Potatoes and sweet corn, Turmeric,Pepper,Tofu,Tomato and Salt.
- Mix and then add chopped Coriander.Again mix and your filling is ready.
- Apply butter to bread slices and then drop a tablespoon of filling over it.
- Sprinkle oregano and cheese and close the sandwich with another slice.
- Grill in a sandwich maker or over a griddle / Tawa applying butter on the slice.
- Serve hot.
Tips :-
- Instead of fresh cream you can even add mayonnaise.
- To avoid butter you can use Olive oil.
