Traditional Chhena Poda With Jaggery

Boil 1 Litre milk, then let it cool slightly.

Step 1

Mix 2 Tbsp vinegar with 2 Tbsp water, add to milk.

Step 2

Cover and let sit for 10 mins.And you see milk curdled.

Step 3

Add cold water to rinse out the smell of Vinegar

Step 4

Strain to get Chena.

Step 5

Squeeze out excess water.

Step 6

Mash Chena till smooth.

Step 7

Mix 1 Tbsp in suji, 1 pinch baking soda, 1 pinch salt, 1/2 Tsp cardamom, 1/2 Tsp ghee, 1/4 Cup jaggery, and dry fruits.

Step 8

 Transfer mix to a greased baking dish.

Step 9

Level and garnish with dry fruits.

Step 10

Bake in preheated Kadai for 50 mins.

Step 11

Cool, demould, and enjoy your Chhena Poda!
